Shopping Guide

Looking for what you want

At Thomas Tosh, you can amend your order at any stage before you make your final payment. You can browse through the store by clicking on the departments you’ll see at the top of every page, or you can search for a product using the search box. Just type in the brand or description of the thing you are looking for and the site will come up with suggestions.

Each individual department has its own sections where you can look at individual types of products, fragrances for example, in Home & Garden, and brand, for example, Polie Pottery in Home & Garden.

You can select a product by clicking on its picture, or clicking on the descriptions underneath it.
 

There you can read more details about the picture, and increase the size of the image.
 

How to buy an item
 

If you are happy with the details and want to purchase the item, you click the add to cart button under the description of the product.
 

You can keep an eye on the amount you are spending and the number of items in your cart. This information is shown in the top right-hand side of the website.
 

To continue looking through the shop and purchasing, use the menus as before.  And to return to the previous page, from the individual product you are looking at, use the return to products button.
 

You can also use the forward and back arrows on your browser.
 

Paying for your shopping
 

Once you have finished your shopping, click the total amount or cart buttons on the top right hand corner of the website.
 

You will be taken to the shopping cart page. Here, you can amend the number of items you’ve bought, remove items, add additional products, or empty your cart and start again.
 

Once you are ready to pay, select the appropriate delivery option. At the moment this is either standard delivery or collecting in store at Thomas Tosh, Thornhill.
 

Once you have selected the delivery option, click on the Continue to Checkout button.
 

You will then be taken to the Your Details page
 

Fill in your billing address, if you have a different delivery address, please put it in the details in the space available. It is worth bearing in mind that we are currently using First Class Recorded Signed For delivery.
 

If  you delivery address is the same delivery as billing address, check the box at the bottom, use this address for deliveries.
 

Once you are happy with your details, click the continue to checkout button.
 

Then you will see an overview of your order. Please check those details. You can still amend or correct the order on this page.
In addition, there is a section for special delivery instructions.
 

Once you are happy, click the Confirm and Pay Now button.
 

You are now taken to the payment page.  Please select your method of payment clicking the logo of your payment card. You can pay by Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and Visa Electron.
 

Complete your card details and press the proceed key.

Your details will be displayed for review by you, this is your last chance to go back and change details about your order. When you click the proceed key again, your payment will be processed.

If you payment is authorised, we will receive an on screen Thank You. An order number will also be displayed on the Thank you page. You can print that page or make a copy of it for your records.
 

How do I know what has happening to my order?
 
When your payment has been authorised, just login to your account at Thomas Tosh and select the "My order" section.  This will show you what’s happening with your order, for example, that it’s being processed, or it has been shipped (sent) to you.
 
Thomas Tosh will send you an email with a weblink that you can click to take you to the log-in area. You will also receive emails telling you about the status of your order.
