Cheesemaker Morgan McGlynn runs one of London’s most popular shops, Cheeses of Muswell Hill, and can be seen regularly on TV as a cheese expert.

Morgan’s loved cheese since childhood and her vocation shines through in her new book The Modern Cheesemaker. This well written, clear and beautifully illustrated cookery book gives you what you the know-how to make cheese at home.

It also has plenty of recipes for good food that you can make with shop-bought cheese.

Morgan will demonstrate a cheese making technique and give you her expert insight into food pairings. We will also have cheese on hand for you to taste, including those made here in Dumfriesshire, and some of Morgan’s favourites. And there will be lots of opportunities for you to ask Morgan questions.
